Legislative Agenda - SEXUAL ASSAULT AND STALKING RESTRAINING ORDER
One of Jane Doe Inc.'s three priority bills for the 2009-2010 Legislative
Session is the creation of a criminally enforceable restraining order
for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence who do not meet the
relationship requirement for a 209A Abuse Protection Order.
On
Thursday, September 17, the Joint
Committee of the Judiciary
held a hearing on this bill.
We want to thank the Members of the Legislature who testified or stood
