The Clothesline Project

A Safe Place will be displaying its Clothesline Project on April 23rd from 9am-12pm (weather dependent) in the garden at the Nantucket Atheneum. The Clothesline Project is a visual display that brings awareness to the often ignored issues of sexual assault and domestic violence. Each shirt on display has been decorated by a local survivor of violence or by someone who has lost a loved one to violence. Join us for this powerful and moving event!
